A. I think Leonardo Davinci was the most influential in getting photography where it is today. He made the first camera, the camera obscura. I think he is the most influential because he actually got the idea of a "picture" in peoples heads. Without Leonardo people wouldn't have developed other better ideas of a camera based off of his. He made it actually possible and people thought about the possibilities of it.
B. The Camera has changed a lot over the years. It used to be a "dark room" that you would climb inside and wait 8 hours for the picture to develop. Joseph Niepce made the first permanent photo. Then later Louis Degurre made the daguerreotype, It improved camera taking so much, it only took a few minutes to take a photo instead of 8 hours. John Herschel invented the glass negative, a better way for pictures. C. Knowing all the different types of cameras that developed before the ones we have today is crazy. I appreciate cameras more because it took a lot of inventing and trial and error to get to what we have today. I'm thankful for how far we've come and how much our technology has advanced because it makes things easier and more effective. It's crazy to think we once didn't have anything to capture pictures with. Now we can take photographs really easily and efficiently.
