I love candid photography. These pictures aren't the best quality haha. I personally like when people take candid pictures of me because I feel like they're more natural and real, instead of posed. I learned about wedding photography because that's a career that uses candid photography. There isn't an actual "Candid Photographer".

My mom named me after my great grandma elsea. She spelled my name with an ea at the end instead of ey or something else that other people do. No i don't believe that a persons name plays into their character. Their name isn't the way they are/act.
This photo symbolizes what I like to do. The things that I like to do are surrounding the heart that is on me. I also drew the heart, but then took a picture of it. I enjoy volleyball, art, and playing the Ukulele etc.
I really liked the polygonal lasso tool when cutting out certain things I wanted from a photo, it made a very clean cut photo. The magnetic lasso tool was very helpful when I needed the volleyball cut out. It made a very clean cut circle. The eraser tool was very helpful when I needed to clean up the edges of a photo. For my revisions someone suggested that I should put something in the background so it's not as plain. I decided to put the heart as the background but made it transparent so it wasn't the main part of the photo. The word critique means to a detailed analysis and assessment of something or to review it. Critiquing a photo is very important because you could make the overall quality of the photo better. You can also change things to make it better, or by critiquing you can notice things you didn't notice before. Critiquing is meant to help you improve.
For my portrait I am going to show my interests, hobbies, and other characteristics about me. I have a couple ideas of how I'm going to do this. The tools that I have learned so far are going to be really helpful in this assignment.
I am lucky to have my family, friends, house, and wonderful place to live. But I am really lucky to have everything that I have.

Changing the brightness of photos really helped the photo a lot, especially if it was dark originally. Using the levels also made the photo better depending on how I wanted the photo looked. Overall the adjustment layers are very helpful and can make any photo better.
Shallow Deep A higher aperture is a deeper depth and works better when you want the whole picture in focus. A lower aperture is a more shallow picture and works better for photos when your wanting one object to stand out more.
Knowing how to focus better will make the quality of your photos so much better. A deep aperture is when everything is in focus and vise versa for shallow.
